M Clark Canine and Unju Chung-Canine are THE COUNSELING GROUP. They have been partners in business and marriage since 1997. Their personalities and professional styles complement one another well. This keeps their lives strong and positive. It also serves as a role model to other relationships that their approach to life and mental well-being actually works.

Unju Chung-Canine MA, LMHC, NCCPositive Change CatalystAs the list of credentials after her name indicates, Unju is a highly trained and qualified therapist. Unju moved to the U.S. with her family at age 4 from Seoul, South Korea and grew up in New York City. Unju earned her Bachelor's degree from The State University of New York at Albany and her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Central Florida. Unju has honed her compassionate, supportive style over 11 years of coaching and counseling. She has aided people during times of extreme crisis at Lifeline of Central Florida. At The Sexual Trauma Recovery Center of Arnold Palmer Hospital, Unju helped child and adult abuse survivors find peace and healing. Unju then became a leading therapist for The Devereux Foundation, a non-profit agency. There she provided top-quality counseling addressing anxiety, depression, attachment issues, self-esteem, and relationship issues. Prior to her career as a coach and therapist, Unju worked for the New York State Senate. She has also been a college advisor and managed her family's business. |

Clark earned his Bachelor's degree from The University of Florida and his Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Central Florida. He has assisted people in improving their lives in various settings. From government agencies (Department of Children and Families), and hospitals (Sexual Trauma Recovery Center/ Arnold Palmer Hospital), to non-profit organizations (Devereux Foundation); Clark has changed the lives of countless clients. Clark is a recognized expert in the areas of anger management, men’s issues, communication, and relationship improvement. Clark also has extensive knowledge beyond the world of counseling. Prior to becoming a coach and therapist, Clark owned a thriving business, was a successful salesperson, and a professional actor. These experiences were extremely valuable in helping Clark become the effective communicator he is today. During his 12 years as a counselor, Clark has developed a friendly style that is relaxed and yet uplifting and energetic. |
